Position Summary The Switchgear Technician will work directly with the Senior Field Engineer to support field and manufacturing wiring projects. This role includes hands-on tasks such as interpreting drawings, performing field and shop wiring, and executing smaller retrofit projects with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities • Provide wiring support for field and manufacturing operations., • Assist the Field Engineer with interpreting drawings, and performing field and shop wiring tasks., • Execute smaller retrofit projects independently, with minimal supervision., • 2+ years minimum Switchgear/ATS/Generator Controller Experience required, • Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and groupings., • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings., • General understanding of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), generator, and switchgear operation., • Familiarity with machinery and equipment used in field projects., • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems and how to apply them., • Basic knowledge of instrumentation is a plus., • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills., • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage tasks independently., • Customer-focused with a positive, solutions-driven attitude.
