Summary /Objective Swimwear Anywhere is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of two privately owned facilities including a 52k square foot office building and a 57k square foot distribution center. The ideal candidate will ensure that both facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with all regulations, while optimizing efficiency and productivity. Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Facility Operations Management: • Oversee and coordinate all building maintenance and repairs (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems) for both the office/DC facilities., • Ensure both facilities are fully operational with all utilities functioning properly., • Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations., • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards, for both locations., • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills., • Implement and maintain security systems and procedures., • Oversee the maintenance and operation of the distribution center's infrastructure and equipment., • Ensure efficient layout and utilization of space to optimize product flow and storage., • Develop and manage facilities budget, including maintenance and utility costs., • Monitor and control expenses within the approved budget., • Recruit, train, and supervise facilities staff at both locations., • Set performance standards and conduct regular performance reviews., • Plan and oversee facility refurbishments and renovations for both the office/DC facilities., • Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and cost savings., • Stay updated with latest industry trends and best practices in facilities management. Qualifications and Competencies: Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field., • Proven experience managing a large office and DC facilities., • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)., • Excellent project management and organizational skills., • Strong leadership and team management skills., • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively., • Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite Working Conditions: • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed., • Physical ability to conduct regular site inspections and oversee maintenance activities., • Occasional travel between the office/DC facilities as required., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
