What Were Looking For: Foam Carver / Styrofoam Artist: (Props, sculptures, and large-scale elements) Skills Needed: Carving, shaping, and detailing foam (polystyrene, high-density foam) using tools like hot wire cutters, knives, and rasps. Metal Fabricator / Welder Artist: (Metal sculptures, gates, furniture, etc.) Skills Needed: Welding, cutting, and shaping metals like steel, aluminum, or copper. Understanding of fabrication tools like MIG/TIG welders, plasma cutters, and metal benders. Wood Carver / Sculptor: (Detailed woodwork, sculptures, and furniture) Skills Needed: Woodworking, carving, and sculpting using hand tools, chisels, and power tools like routers and sanders. Mold Maker / Resin Artist: (Casting, molding, and resin creations) Skills Needed: Proficiency in creating molds from silicone, plaster, or other materials and casting in resin or other materials. Leatherworker / Upholsterer: (Custom leather and textile work) Skills Needed: Leatherworking skills, stitching, dyeing, and finishing leather. Upholstery techniques for adding fabrics or leathers to furniture or custom pieces. Stone Carver: Skills Needed: Ability to carve and shape stone using chisels, hammers, pneumatic tools, and grinders. Fabricator / 3D Textile Artist: Skills Needed: Sewing, fabric manipulation, and use of textile materials. Some might specialize in 3D textile forms or plush sculptures. Ceramic Artist / Potter Skills Needed: Working with clay, pottery wheels, hand building, glazing, firing, and molding. Set Designer / Scenic Artist Skills Needed: Construction, painting, and designing sets or props for film, theater, or exhibition spaces. Job Description Summary Certifies, fabricates, assembles, installs, alters, maintains and dismantles all piping and plumbing, including hangers and supports, and pipe cutting, bending and welding activities necessary to the performance of the task. Duties and Responsibilities • Certifies, fabricates, assembles, installs, alters, maintains and dismantles all piping and plumbing, including hangers and supports, and pipe cutting, bending and welding activities necessary to the performance of the task., • Installs, maintains and repairs necessary piping on refrigeration, heating and air conditioning equipment. Installs and dismantles unit heaters and coolers, shell type heat exchangers, tanks and package boilers. Installs filters, seals and packing on air, refrigeration, heating and air conditioning equipment except compressors in the shop for rebuild., • Certifies, installs, adjusts and maintains such items as gages, regulators, temperature control devices, recording instruments and flow meters pursuant to the task (excluding calibration)., • Installs insulation and covering on all piping and equipment as described above., • May lubricate equipment when necessary in the performance of related tasks., • Uses all tools and equipment pursuant to the task, including hand or power equipment to hoist and move personnel and materials except mobile cranes., • May transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job site which are to be used by employees in the Pipefitter job classification., • Performs related tasks as necessary in the completion of the employee's primary work assignment in the Pipefitter job classification., • May perform cleaning of roof cooling towers pursuant to the task., • US Citizenship, able to obtain and maintain US DOT clearance, • Ability to work any shift, • Valid Driver's License, • Certified Welder, • Journeyman Pipefitter, • NATE Certification, • Welding Certification
