CSI Companies is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to work with one of our top healthcare clients! Location: Mineola, NY Duration: 12+ Month Contract Pay: $45 - $50/hr W2 Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Description: Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support infrastructure initiatives within a large healthcare system. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clinical/operational stakeholders to ensure timely execution of infrastructure projects including network upgrades, hardware deployments, system migrations, and data center initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate day-to-day activities for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and met, • Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing infrastructure-related initiatives, • Act as a liaison between technical teams (network, server, cloud) and hospital stakeholders, • Track project milestones, risks, issues, and action items; provide regular status updates, • Assist with resource coordination, including vendors, internal teams, and third-party partners, • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, and reports, • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards, security protocols, and organizational policies, • Coordinate change management activities, including maintenance windows and communication plans, • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience), • 2–5 years of experience supporting IT projects, preferably in infrastructure environments, • Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms), • Experience with project coordination tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar), • Strong organizational and communication skills, • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare system, • Knowledge of healthcare IT environments (e.g., EMR systems, HIPAA compliance), • Exposure to vendors such as Cisco, VMware, Azure, or AWS, • Project coordination & scheduling, • Stakeholder communication, • Risk and issue tracking, • Documentation and reporting, • Cross-functional collaboration, • Attention to detail
