Due to our current growth and expansion, we currently have a Front of House Manager position available at our restaurant. If you have experience managing a team of cashiers and front of house staff, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and want to join a growing company we want to hear from you.     We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Medical Front Desk / Medical Assistant to join our busy diagnostic imaging center in Perth Amboy, NJ. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable speaking with patients, able to multitask, and has strong customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities include: • Greeting and checking in patients, • Answering incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments, • Confirming patient information and insurance details, • Communicating with doctors’ offices to obtain prescriptions, authorizations, and other required information, • Entering patient information accurately into the system, • Assisting patients with forms and general questions, • Managing faxes, emails, medical records, and incoming documents, • Following up with patients and referring physician offices, • Keeping the front desk organized and providing excellent customer service, • Assisting the office with other administrative duties as needed Qualifications: • Medical office, front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred, • Comfortable using computers and learning new software, • Strong phone and communication skills, • Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and professional, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks, • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, • Experience with medical terminology, insurance verification, or prior authorizations is a plus We are looking for someone who is positive, hardworking, dependable, and interested in growing with our office.
