Responsibilities • Conduct intricate cardiothoracic surgical procedures, focusing on cardiac surgery (75%) and general thoracic surgery (25%)., • Employ advanced technologies, including minimally invasive robotic thoracic techniques, surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation, and lead TAVR and other structural heart programs., • Collaborate with a high-volume, experienced team to ensure exceptional patient care., • Engage in the development and enhancement of cardiac care programs and initiatives., • Provide mentorship and education to residents, fellows, and medical staff., • Potential for leadership roles at the hospital or system level, including Director and Chairperson positions, based on qualifications.Requirements, • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery., • Completion of fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery, preferably with a focus on Structural Cardiac Interventional Fellowship., • Expertise in advanced surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted procedures., • Experience and enthusiasm for program development and innovation., • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.Location St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center, Roslyn, Nassau County, NY, and Good Samaritan University Hospital, West Islip, Suffolk County, NY.
