Job Summary: The Senior Logistic Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end logistics function for Geely Auto España, ensuring the timely, efficient, cost-effective and compliant flow of vehicles, parts and related materials from international origin points through customs clearance, storage, vehicle preparation and final distribution within the Spanish market. The position will be responsible for defining and implementing the local logistics strategy, developing the logistics operating model, managing external logistics partners, overseeing budgets and service levels, and ensuring operational readiness to support the company’s commercial growth, vehicle launches and dealer network development in Spain. The Logistic Senior Manager will lead the local Logistics team, including the Logistics Manager, and will provide strategic direction, governance and operational oversight to ensure that logistics activities are aligned with the company’s business objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategy and operations • Define and implement the logistics strategy for Geely Auto España in alignment with the company’s commercial objectives, European logistics strategy and global supply chain standards., • Oversee the complete end-to-end logistics flow of vehicles and materials, ensuring accurate, safe and timely delivery, including international transportation, port operations, customs clearance, compound management, storage, vehicle preparation and final distribution., • Ensure operational readiness for launches, campaigns and volume peaks, including capacity and contingency planning. 1. Supplier, cost and performance management • Lead the selection, negotiation, onboarding and performance management of logistics suppliers, including shipping companies, port operators, customs brokers, compounds, vehicle preparation centres and transport providers., • Define service requirements, operational standards, KPIs and service-level agreements for logistics partners., • Regularly evaluate supplier performance in relation to quality, cost, delivery, capacity, compliance and responsiveness., • Prepare, manage and control the annual logistics budget for Geely Auto España., • Monitor logistics costs, including international transport, port handling, customs clearance, storage, vehicle preparation and domestic distribution., • Identify and implement cost-efficiency opportunities without compromising quality, compliance or delivery performance. 1. Planning and coordination • Oversee vehicle inventory levels across ports, compounds, preparation centres and other logistics locations., • Ensure appropriate alignment between sales forecasts, vehicle availability, storage capacity and distribution plans., • Prevent excessive storage periods, capacity shortages, unnecessary logistics costs and vehicle ageing., • Act as the main logistics interface with Geely Europe and Global Headquarters. 1. Compliance and risk management • Identify and assess logistics, customs, supplier, capacity and business continuity risks., • Develop contingency and recovery plans for critical logistics disruptions., • Ensure compliance with Spanish and European customs, transport and regulatory requirements., • Coordinate with authorities, brokers and internal stakeholders on regulatory matters. Education: • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field., • A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in supply chain, logistics or operations would be considered valuable. Experience: • +10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, including automotive sector exposure., • Proven experience managing end-to-end vehicle logistics operations., • Experience leading teams, managing suppliers and controlling budgets., • Experience in international or fast-growing environments., • Knowledge of the Spanish automotive logistics ecosystem., • Strong knowledge of automotive logistics and distribution processes, including understanding of customs and regulatory requirements in Spain and Europe., • Experience with logistics KPIs, budgeting and supplier management., • Fluent Spanish and English required.
