At Puttery, every visit is a reason to celebrate. /p h3Job Purpose /h3 pThe Nightlife Operations Manager leads Restaurant, events and late-evening, ticketed and guest-facing operations while driving revenue through entertainment programming, activations, partnerships, and special events. /p pThis role combines front of house leadership with business development. The ideal candidate is equal parts floor manager, host, promoter, and entrepreneur – someone who can create energy on the floor while growing attendance, revenue, and guest engagement. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead all nightlife and guest-facing operations, including bars, servers, hosts, and support staff. /li liManage the floor during peak hours to maintain energy, service standards, guest engagement, and crowd flow. /li liHire, train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members. /li liLead pre-shift meetings and maintain a positive, accountable team culture. /li liManage schedules, staffing levels, labor costs, and service efficiency. /li liResolve guest concerns and ensure an exceptional guest experience. /li liPartner with Events, BOH, and venue leadership to execute private events and high-volume nights. /li liSource and book Promoters, DJs, performers, and entertainment partners. /li liDevelop and execute recurring activations, including comedy festivals, watch parties, and seasonal programming. /li liBuild and manage a calendar of events designed to increase traffic and revenue. /li liWork with Marketing to promote events and grow attendance. /li liDevelop partnerships with hospitality brands and artists. /li liBuild relationships with promoters, sponsors, talent agencies, and event organizers. /li liIdentify sponsorship and cross-promotional opportunities. /li liHelp convert activations into private event and corporate sales opportunities. /li liTrack event performance and optimize programming based on results. /li liDrive revenue through strong operations, activations, partnerships, and guest engagement. /li liMonitor scheduling, inventory controls, and operational costs. /li liEnforce responsible alcohol service, crowd management, and food safety standards. /li liEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable laws. /li liMaintain a safe, respectful environment for guests and employees. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years of management experience in hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, or experiential venues. /li liExperience leading teams in fast-paced, late-night environments. /li liExperience with event programming, entertainment booking, activations, or partnerships preferred. /li liStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. /li liExperience with scheduling, labor management, and performance coaching. /li liProven ability to drive attendance, revenue, and guest engagement. /li liExisting relationships within nightlife, entertainment, comedy, sports, or hospitality industries are a plus. /li liFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 ul liFast-paced nightlife environment. /li liEvening, weekend, and holiday shifts required. /li liExposure to loud music, crowds, and high-volume service periods. /li liExtended periods of standing and walking. /li liAbility to lift up to 30 lbs. /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 ul libDiscretionary performance bonus opportunities may be tied to: /b ul liActivation and event revenue /li liPartnership and sponsorship revenue /li liGrowth of High Line Comedy Club attendance and ticket sales /li liPrivate event sales generated through activations /li liFood and beverage revenue growth /li liAchievement of venue revenue targets /li /ul /li /ul pPuttery is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
