Your primary duties will include: Opening Duties: · Ensure the restaurant is ready for service by overseeing the opening procedures. · Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff to outline daily tasks and goals. · Inspect the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms. · Verify that all equipment is in working order and address any issues. Daily Operations: · Supervise and coordinate the activities of floor staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers. · Monitor service quality and address any customer issues promptly and professionally. · Maintain a visible presence on the floor, assisting staff and interacting with customers as needed. · Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards. Staff Management: · Train, mentor, and motivate floor staff to deliver exceptional service. · Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for shifts. · Handle time-off requests and shift swaps efficiently. · Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff. Customer Service: · Foster a welcoming and positive dining experience for all guests. · Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner. · Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality. Closing Duties: · Oversee the closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately. · Conduct end-of-day financial reconciliation, including closing tills and preparing bank deposits. · Ensure the restaurant is clean, secure, and ready for the next day's operations. Inventory and Supplies: · Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff for restocking. · Assist in ordering supplies and managing deliveries. · Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies. Operational Efficiency: · Identify areas for improvement in service delivery and operational processes. · Implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency on the floor. · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report to management. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Floor Supervisor or in a similar role in a high-end or busy restaurant setting. • Fluency in Spanish and English. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
