Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacle. Set-up, clean and break down work station. Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Prepare and cook food. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. You will be responsible for providing a naturally friendly, helpful and responsive level of service to all our guests, ensuring they are treated as individuals and will want to return. Job Description What you'll do... Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges. Deal with the arrival and departure processes for all guests, ensuring all standard operating procedures are adhered to. Deal with in-house guests’ requests, recording all feedback as per our standard operating procedures. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest billing, financial transactions and the Reception float. Ensure the accuracy of data in all systems and provides the necessary daily reports for all departments as per our standard operating procedures. Ensure the night reception tasks are completed correctly and accurately in line with our standard operating procedures. Ensures all guests are quoted the correct rate as per the selling strategy and website. Ensure all telephone calls are answered as quickly and efficiently as possible. Maintain observation over guests and guest’s property to ensure security alerts are kept to a minimum. Report any maintenance issues to the correct department and check to ensure the work has been completed. Ensure the integrity of the public area and back of house areas are maintained at all times, with deficiencies corrected immediately. Collaborate with all other teams in the hotel, and all outsourced business partners to ensure the utmost satisfaction for our guests. Ensure the Reception desk is clean, tidy and presentable at all times. You will be a member of the hotels’ crisis and fire teams. Qualifications What we're looking for... What’s the job? As Food and Beverage Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the team, ensuring the service is on point and solving any issue reported by the team. You'll report to the Food and Beverage Manager. Your day-to-day: • Support the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and the Director of Food & Beverage in any required task. • Manage beverage control including inventory, bar pars, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns and food standards. • Implement agreed upon beverage policy and procedures throughout the property. • Train staff on liquor control policies and procedures. • Monitor adherence to all liquor control policies and procedures. • Ensure Bar team provides excellent service and continually strives to exceed expectations. • Ensure service and other standards according to SOPs are adhered to. • Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and all stock items are managed. • Ensure that the Bar team is continually trained in product knowledge, all menus and Hotel initiatives. • Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards. • Oversee staff training and carry out on-the-job training where required. What we need from you: • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field. • Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management valuable. • 2+ years’ experience working in Food and Beverage department as supervisor. • Must be fluent in local language and English, additional languages will be highly valuable. • Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, team-worker and with passion for service. Gestión Operativa: • Responsable de ayudar a los huéspedes con el registro de entrada y salida, además de todas las peticiones especiales de servicios o información, de acuerdo con los SOP’s. • Controlar la facturación del día, asegurando el cierre correcto de las facturas emitidas a los clientes durante el día, así como las facturas a crédito derivadas al departamento de contabilidad. • Gestionar los cupos asignados a los diferentes intermediarios.
