Access career development opportunities within procurement, supply chain, and broader management functions. /ph3Procurement Manager /h3pAs Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational and financial performance of APM Terminals Valencia and Gijón. You will partner with terminal leadership to drive a cost-conscious culture, strengthen procurement maturity, and ensure efficient sourcing strategies that support safe and reliable terminal operations. You will act as the key link between local stakeholders and the wider APM Terminals procurement organization, leveraging regional and global capabilities while driving continuous improvement, supplier performance, and procurement excellence across the Spain Gateways terminals. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliPartner with terminal leadership to drive cost optimization initiatives and improve procurement performance. /liliDevelop and manage supplier relationships while leveraging global framework agreements and procurement strategies. /liliLead tendering activities, including supplier evaluation, bid assessment, negotiation, and contract award recommendations. /liliIdentify and implement cost-saving, efficiency, and innovation opportunities across procurement activities. /liliEnsure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and global procurement standards. /liliCollaborate with Finance, Legal, and operational stakeholders to manage contracts, supplier performance, and commercial risks. /liliDrive digitalization, automation, and adoption of procurement tools and processes to improve operational efficiency. /li /ulh3What We Are Looking For /h3pContinuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset—curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time. /ppLeadership expectation: We are looking for people who consistently puts customers first, leads by example with respect for people, delivers results with integrity, and drives continuous improvement by solving problems at the root, developing people, and raising standards every day. /ph3In addition, you bring: /h3ulliA degree in Engineering, Business Management, Accounting, or a related discipline. /liliMore than 5 years of procurement experience within terminal operations, logistics, transportation, automotive, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex industries. /liliStrong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing. /liliAdvanced English communication skills and professional fluency in Spanish. /liliStrong analytical capabilities, knowledge of procurement governance and contract management, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions. /li /ulp#LI-POST Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
