With a goal to deliver sustainable growth the CSI group will present the successful candidate with a great opportunity for continuous career development as part of a highly motivated and supportive team. /p h3The Position /h3 pThe group is seeking an experienced Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to work on the development of new product solutions for portable consumer applications, engaging directly with our Tier 1 OEMs, along with supervisor/mentor leadership opportunities. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liWorking within an analog/mixed-signal design team based in our Valencia (Spain), Cork (Ireland), Limerick (Ireland) and Newbury (England) sites. /li liContributing to the detailed definition and architecture development of high-performance mixed signal devices. /li liIC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation. /li liConducting technical presentations to ADI’s internal engineering team and customers. /li liUsing recommended design and verification techniques, tools flows to produce efficient designs which meet all specified functional, power and timing objectives. /li liSuccessful integration of blocks into larger mixed-signal systems. /li liSupporting other job functions such as layout, lab evaluation and test to ensure successful delivery meeting all requirements. /li liContinuing to improve analog design methodologies consistent with the group’s wider business objectives to reduce time and cost to market. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liElectronic Engineering degree with 5+ years’ experience as an analog/mixed signal IC designer. /li liCandidates should have a good knowledge of analog and mixed signal electronics, tools and flows. /li liDesign experience with circuits such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, switching power supply circuits, audio etc., is an advantage. /li liStrong people leadership, inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are required. /li liThe successful candidate will be expected to take a full cell ownership role and contribute to the development of new products from architecture selection to implementation and debug. /li liExperience of integrating analog blocks (converters, power management, etc.) in complex microcontroller systems would be an advantage. /li liSome limited travel should be expected. /li /ul h3Export Compliance /h3 pFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. The team is responsible for developing mixed signal subsystems for next generation consumer products. The chips include digital signal processing data paths and embedded microprocessor systems combined with high precision analog subsystems. This is an excellent opportunity to employ state-of-the-art design physical design methodologies, get exposure to a wide range of technical disciplines and career growth. The job is available at our offices in Valencia or Cork. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liB.Tech/M.Tech. in EE/ECE with 10+ years of experience in digital implementation. /li liStrong knowledge in Floor planning, place and route, CTS, STA, ECO methodology, Power analysis and Physical design verification. /li liBroad experience in synthesis and timing constraints. /li liExperience with 40nm digital implementation is essential. /li liScripting skill and experience using languages such as Tcl, SKILL and Perl. /li liKnowledge of the state of the art implementation tools. Cadence tool experience preferred. /li liExperience working with Perforce/Methodics for versioning. /li liKnowledge of CPF/UPF methodology is an added advantage. /li liKnowledge of Cadence Virtuoso tool is an advantage. /li liKnowledge of foundry rules and ability to produce tape out ready GDS2 database is a plus. /li liTechnical ownership and hands on expertise needed.
