As a Head of Medical Affairs Rare Disease , you will drive the medical strategy and lead the plan of an exciting pipeline, directly and through the management of the team. • Be a true leader: foster the team to take ownership and act boldly, coach and share feedback, understand and identify training needs, ensure team wellbeing and motivation., • Defining the KOL engagement strategy: building and growing a solid scientific relationship with appropriate physicians, scientific societies, and other relevant stakeholders., • Provide cross-functional expertise: to internal and external stakeholders, and represent Novo Nordisk Spain at local and global meetings., • Ensure accuracy of medical and scientific information: regarding Novo Nordisk products through all channels, working according to Business Ethics procedures, local law, NNWay, and NN policies & guidelines., • Education: Medical Doctor, • Solid experience and a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry from the Medical Affairs area, with at least 5 years in a leadership role driving medical strategy and leading both functional and cross-functional teams., • Experience across a wide range of therapeutic areas, demonstrating adaptability and learning ability. Experience in Rare Diseases is required, ideally in Hemophilia or Endocrine disorders. In this role, you will report to the VP of Clinical Medical & Regulatory, working closely with the RareD BU Senior Director. The CMR department includes passionate colleagues leading the development of medicines, bringing them to patients, and driving change in disease areas by focusing on improving outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
