If you are passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter. /p h3Project Manager – Mechanical /h3 h3Job Summary /h3 pWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager – Mechanical to lead and deliver mechanical engineering packages for mission‑critical data center projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units, and mechanical controls, and will be able to manage complex construction and infrastructure deployments from design through commissioning. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPlan, coordinate, and manage the mechanical scope of work for data center projects, including HVAC, chillers, piping, ventilation, and BMS interfaces. /li liManage internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to deliver mechanical systems on time, within budget, and to specification. /li liReview mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications; ensure alignment with client requirements, codes, and standards. /li liMonitor progress and performance of mechanical contractors, conduct site inspections, and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning. /li liEnforce quality control, health and safety compliance, and ensure adherence to local and international mechanical engineering standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.). /li liManage cost tracking, budgeting, procurement planning, and change control processes for mechanical components. /li liCollaborate with electrical, civil, and controls teams to ensure integrated system delivery. /li liMaintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, reports, and punch lists. /li liIdentify and mitigate mechanical risks and resolve issues as they arise. /li liDeliver weekly progress updates and reports to senior stakeholders and clients. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /li liPMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred. /li liMinimum 5-8 years of mechanical project management experience, including at least 3 years on data center or mission‑critical projects. /li liStrong knowledge of data center mechanical infrastructure including chilled water systems, DX cooling, economizers, CRAC/CRAH units, etc. /li liFamiliarity with local codes and international standards (ASHRAE, ISO, NFPA). /li liProficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera. /li liEffective communication, coordination, and leadership skills. /li liAbility to work on‑site and travel as needed. /li liPrevious experience working in fast growing, international environments. /li liFluent in English and Spanish. /li /ul pDayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
