Tradebe Health & Nutrition and Tradebe Life Sciences are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant who loves getting into the detail and implementing strategy. A driven individual who will support key senior decision makers. Main Purpose of Role Support effective financial planning, forecasting and analysis for the Health and Nutrition, and Flavors and Fragances business. Partner with the business to provide relevant insights into business performance. Provide business expertise into accounting/financial control processes, including support for and interaction with the financial control team and business administrative functions. Duties/Responsibilities Conduct business performance analysis to identify, investigate and understand operational business unit results (e.g. margins, costs, profitability by client and stream) and recommend improvement opportunities. Prepare, challenge and explain accomplishment of budgets and forecasts in coordination with Operations and Commercial teams, and recommend and help implement actions to bring performance back to budget if performance deviates. Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues (e.g. develop business cases for new business opportunities) Prepare CAPEX and Non-Operational Expenditure forms including rationale for the investment and calculation of expected financial return. Drive process improvements in working capital management. Ensure accuracy of period-end financial closings by providing business expertise into the financial control team and reviewing final output Play a pivotal role in the integration of new finance systems and software, for example SAP S/4HANA Review and ensure the accuracy of period-end financial closings by working closely with the various business functions and providing expertise in financial control and accounting Experience Experience with financial planning, forecasting and analysis. Experience with variance analysis, plant operations and managing multiple projects. Demonstrated ability to interpret results and understand key drivers within a business. Demonstrated ability to identify business cases for new opportunities, and the ability to prepare planning models to support these business cases. Experience building strong working relationships across different teams and seniority grades. Ability to represent finance with the business and the business with finance. SAP knowledge and advanced Excel user. Skills English language communication skills, ability to clearly present results and recommendations. Business/Commercial acumen and ability to understand plant operations. Analytical skills to make sense out of large sets of data and identify critical KPI's. Highly developed budgeting, forecasting and business analysis skills. Ability to manage multiple projects / plants under analysis at a time. Influencing and negotiating skills to deal with a variety of functions and profiles within the organisation. Hands on and proactive attitude to pursue tasks where value for the business can be added.
