ph3Overview /h3 pThis role is a full‑time field sales position within a dynamic and high‑performance Automation sales team. As an Automation Specialist Account Manager at Waters, your responsibilities include designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that drives sales of our full range of automation products and services. You should bring a proven track record in sales, be a driven and dynamic individual, a fast learner, and an avid networker with strong communication skills capable of thinking strategically yet excelling in tactical implementation of programs. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPenetrate key accounts in the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma drug development space, Food and Environmental testing, related clinical research, CROs, Biotech accounts and, to a smaller extent, Academia and Industrial accounts. /li liProactively manage new account acquisition, the sales funnel and maximize lead‑to‑opportunity and opportunity‑to‑order conversion. /li liPresent and sell Andrew+ and Onelab products and strategies, including demoing solutions to potential customers. /li liManage sales targets which will be a mixture of instrument unit sales, accessories, software and service sales, defining the overall revenue for the territory. /li liContinuously manage the sales funnel (leads, opportunities, won/lost), accurately forecast and maintain effective CRM utilization and hygiene. /li liActively explore market potential for the automation of applications in a new or diverse range of subject areas, from simple standalone solutions to complex multi‑instrument projects. /li liArrange and deliver seminars and instrument demonstrations. /li liTravel across your assigned region and plan customer engagements, structuring your week and prioritizing high‑value opportunities in the field. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in laboratory work, developing methods or a sales position focused on instrumentation and/or chemistry workflows and applications. /li liKnowledge or relevant qualifications in Analytical Chemistry or Biology with experience in Liquid Chromatography, Sample Preparation and automation. /li liProactive customer‑focused mindset and passion for improving processes to be more efficient and reliable. /li liGreat problem‑solving skills to support customers in addressing automation challenges. /li /ul h3Benefits Opportunities /h3 pProvides visibility across a broad range of customers at different stages of digital and laboratory transformation.
