The role As a Senior Research Consultant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary, dynamic, and growing team in Barcelona, working in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment. You will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts, policymakers, and stakeholders across Europe, contributing to projects that help shape the future of health data use and regulation. Key responsibilities: • Planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve specific project goals and objectives, • Writing research and consulting reports and proposals in English for different audiences, • Contributing to Horizon Europe proposals and projects in the Life Sciences domain, • Monitoring work programmes, calls, and trends in Horizon Europe and other EU funding programmes, particularly in Health and Life Sciences, • Developing professional and clear presentations, • Conducting desk research tasks within projects (e.g., scoping and systematic literature reviews), • Conducting qualitative research tasks (e.g., interviews, surveys and focus groups), • Developing tools for consultations (e.g., questionnaires, discussion guides), • Providing guidance and feedback to Research Consultants, • Supporting other Senior Research consultants and Managers in their tasks, • Contributing actively to team meetings, sharing your perspective and your insights in your work and the work of others across the company Required skills and experience • A strong academic background, at least to Master’s degree level, in a relevant topic: health economics, health policy, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related discipline, • Professional experience of at least 3 years in a similar role (e.g., consulting firm, research institution, university, think tank), • Experience participating in competitive EU-funded projects (e.g. Horizon Europe), • Proven track record in the field of health with good understanding of health policy and EU institutions, • Project Management skills demonstrated by concrete experience of dealing with complex projects and multiple stakeholders in an international environment, • Proven communication skills and track record in the field of stakeholder engagement, especially within public authorities, • Ability to work independently as well as within multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary consulting teams spread across several countries, • Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methods, • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to synthesise a range of evidence, • Commitment to an open and collaborative team atmosphere, • Fluency in spoken English and excellent English writing skills (C2), • Desirable: Fluency in one or more European languages other than English What we offer • Salary: 35.000 – 45.000 EUR gross/year (FTE) plus an array of benefits, including office lunch, complementary refreshments and a bonus scheme., • Location: Barcelona.
