About the Role We are seeking an Fundraising Origination Associate to join our Investor Relations and Fundraising team. The role is focused entirely on sales origination, investor-facing activity and new relationship development. The ideal candidate will be a proactive commercial professional whose primary responsibility is to identify, approach and open new investor relationships. We are looking for someone who is comfortable starting each day with a blank sheet, building target lists, attacking new prospects, securing meetings and helping convert new relationships into fundraising opportunities The role will focus particularly on family offices, multi-family offices, EAFIs, private banks, wealth managers, financial advisers, placement agents and selected institutional investors, both in Spain and internationally. This is a critical hire for Qualitas and offers substantial exposure to senior professionals, investors and strategic fundraising initiatives. The role requires knowledge of private markets, strong commercial instincts, excellent communication skills, disciplined pipeline management and the ability to use AI tools systematically to improve prospecting, investor research, outreach, meeting preparation, CRM discipline and reporting. Proactively identify, map and approach new investor prospects, especially family offices, multi-family offices, EAFIs, private banks, wealth managers, advisers, placement agents and selected institutional investors Build and maintain target lists of prospective investors and intermediaries using internal networks, external databases, LinkedIn, public sources, adviser networks, industry events and AI-enabled research tools Develop structured outreach campaigns through warm introductions, targeted emails, LinkedIn outreach, calls and disciplined follow-up. Secure first meetings with new prospective investors and intermediaries, and coordinate follow-ups with existing and prospective investors Support capital raising across different investor segments in Spain and internationally, qualifying opportunities by investor type, product fit, ticket size, probability, timing, blocker and next step. Work with senior team members to move prospects through the funnel: first meeting, second meeting, data room access, due diligence, soft commitment and subscription Identify the appropriate Qualitas product or strategy for each investor, including fund-of-funds, direct / co-investment strategies, secondaries, managed accounts or tailored solutions Develop new channels of investor access, including family office networks, private banks, wealth managers, EAFIs, placement agents, advisers and trusted introducers Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with investor activity, meeting notes, next steps, probability, expected amount, owner and target da te.Prepare weekly reporting on origination activity, including new prospects, outreach, meetings, second meetings, data room access, DD processes, soft commitments and closed commitments Use AI tools wherever possible to improve investor mapping, prospect research, meeting preparation, outreach messages, follow-up emails, CRM updates, pipeline analysis and reporting Operate with clear performance metrics, commercial accountability and comfort working in an incentive-driven environment Experience 4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in private equity fundraising, placement agency, investor relations with a strong fundraising component, wealth / private banking, asset management sales, investment banking, strategy or financial consulting, Big 4 Transaction Services / Advisory / Valuations, M&A origination or business development Experience with family offices, multi-family offices, EAFIs, private banks, wealth managers, financial advisers, institutional investors or alternative investment products is highly valued Demonstrated ability to originate relationships, open doors, secure meetings or develop new commercial opportunities. Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar. Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field is a plus Skills Strong understanding of private markets, or the ability to learn quickly; strong commercial instincts and ability to identify high-potential investor prospects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English; credible and polished in front of sophisticated investors. Advanced PowerPoint skills and solid Excel proficiency, with ability to analyze pipeline data, investor segmentation and fundraising metrics. Strong CRM discipline, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing prospects, follow-up and conversion.
