What does the internship program entail? • Assisting the global legal team in EMEA and APAC in drafting, reviewing and advising on a range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, supply and services contracts, and licensing arrangements., • Supporting legal research, case management, document organisation, and maintaining contract registers., • Assisting with the coordination of signatures, contract lifecycle tracking, and post‑execution obligations., • Supporting responses to routine queries, and assisting with the development of guidance notes, templates, and playbooks., • Liaising with internal stakeholders under supervision of the broader legal team., • Assisting on company secretarial functions., • Proactively identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools or automation to improve team processes, workflows, or efficiency, and sharing recommendations with the team., • Adhering to confidentiality and data protection requirements and following internal risk, compliance, and information security procedures., • Performing other related tasks as may reasonably be required to support the broader legal team. Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in the Role: • Currently completing a Master’s degree in law (LLM or equivalent) or in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent)., • Strong academic performance with demonstrable interest in commercial law., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English., • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and an ability to present clear, concise advice under supervision., • Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing deadlines., • Passionate about the world of fintech., • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with business stakeholders., • High standard of professional ethics, with a willingness to learn and take feedback. We spend around 60% of our time in the office and around 40% of our time working remotely. Some individuals may be required to work from office or client sites more than 60% of the time, if required by their role and/or client needs. Your precise work schedule will be determined by you, your Line Manager and HR before commencement of your internship program with IPC.
