ppWe are looking for an Accountant to join the finance team supporting the exciting Formula 1 Madrid project at MATCH Hospitality. Based in Valencia, this role will support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of a fast-paced international business environment. /ppThe successful candidate will work closely with the Finance team across a broad range of accounting activities, helping to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and efficient operational processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic sports and events business. /ph3Accounts Receivable Billing /h3ulliPrepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time. /liliMonitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances. /liliSupport reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve discrepancies. /liliAssist with revenue tracking and reporting. /li /ulh3Accounts Payable /h3ulliProcess supplier invoices and employee expenses. /liliPrepare payment runs and maintain supplier records. /liliReconcile supplier statements and resolve queries. /liliEnsure appropriate approvals and supporting documentation are in place. /liliSupport month‑end closing activities and reconciliations. /liliAssist with journal entries and balance sheet reviews. /liliHelp prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis. /liliMaintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules. /li /ulh3Treasury Tax /h3ulliSupport daily treasury and cash flow activities. /liliAssist with bank reconciliations and cash monitoring. /liliSupport preparation of VAT and other tax‑related filings. /liliAssist with financial compliance and documentation requirements. /li /ulh3Audit, Controls Risk /h3ulliSupport internal and external audit processes. /liliHelp maintain strong financial controls and compliance procedures. /liliAssist with risk analysis and monitoring activities. /liliContribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliStrong attention to detail and organisational skills. /liliGood analytical and problem‑solving abilities. /liliAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. /liliStrong communication skills and team‑oriented mindset. /liliComfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment. /liliExperience working with ERP systems is desirable, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365. /lili2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. /liliExperience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable. /liliExposure to month‑end close processes and reconciliations. /liliExperience supporting audits and financial reporting activities. /liliBasic understanding of tax and treasury processes. /liliPrevious experience in an international or project‑based environment is desirable. /liliExperience within hospitality, events, sports, or fast‑paced commercial businesses is a plus. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
