Collaborate closely with business unit leaders and centers of excellence to co-create strategies for each vertical, launch and scale key growth initiatives, and ensure all efforts are fully aligned with HBX’s overarching priorities and long-term ambitions. Lead the E2E design and delivery of selected Big Bets across the full Ecosystem by working together with commercial and business unit leaders. Works closely together with Business Unit (BUs) leaders (e.g. Sourcing, Distribution, Fintech, Mobility & Experiences, HotelTech) and Sales & Sourcing Centers of Excellence to (i) redesign BU strategies under new context of verticalization and (ii) define and launch the main initiatives that will support growth (internally and leveraging partners). Develops the strategy, performance and status reporting of specific big bets to be presented in leadership group meetings, Transformation Office, Executive Committee and Advisory Committee Strategic Planning: Design BU strategies with HBX’s overall strategic priorities and ensuring consistency and quality. Conceptual Problem Solving : Structuring and solving complex ambiguous challenges such as commercial, partnership & Target Operating Models Applying structured, data-driven approaches to break down complex business challenges, identify root causes, and quantify impact—supporting strategic decisions with robust financial, operational, and market analysis Business Plan Development: Create comprehensive business plans that articulate strategic objectives, synergy areas, and financial projections. Strong presentation skills to synthesize complex topics into actionable insights (for senior stakeholders) Stakeholder Engagement: Influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity to deliver high-impact outcomes. Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget. Financial Acumen: Demonstrate strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting processes, and the ability to interpret and act on financial data. Coaching and Leadership: Delegate, train, and motivate team members to foster development and high performance. Working with cutting edge technology enabling our Cloud Journey The DevOps Engineer for our Gaming Department will be responsible for supporting development teams (both Backend and Frontent focused), and will be instrumental in enhancing CI/CD pipelines, improving monitoring and observability, and supporting & mantaining other custom infra solutions. Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines, guiding developers to improve automation, reliability, and test coverage. Lead the migration from Octopus to GitHub Actions and foster a culture of developer-led deployment Design and evolve monitoring systems with Prometheus/Grafana (or future alternatives), integrating observability into CI/CD workflows. Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure performance, scalability, and security. Work closely with all Gaming teams and DevOps engineers focused on infrastrucutre and operations. Experience with GitHub Actions and Octopus; strong focus on deployment automation, speed, reliability, and test coverage. Proficiency with Prometheus/Grafana; capable of building dashboards, improving alerting, and integrating monitoring into CI/CD. Experience with custom-built NGINX setups; Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, ALB, VPC, EKS); experience managing infrastructure using Terraform and modules. Proven experience setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters, ideally with AWS EKS and Rancher RKE. Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar for automation and tooling. Proficient in Git and versioned source control practices. Support build and deployment processes for both backend (.NET) and frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, StencilJS) applications, ensuring smooth CI/CD integration and performance monitoring able to work with Gaming teams and Infra/Ops DevOps engineers. Solid understanding of DevOps culture and ITIL best practices.
