We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for an internationañl Medical Device Company. The position is based in Madrid, It is required to have a C1-C2 english level Position Summary The Logistics Manager plays a key role in overseeing and optimizing logistics activities across an international medical devices organization. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective movement of products across regional markets (Iberia). The Logistics Manager partners with global and regional cross‑functional teams, third‑party logistics providers, and regulatory stakeholders to deliver high service levels, minimize supply disruptions, and maintain full compliance with international medical device standards. Key Responsibilities International Logistics & Distribution • Manage end‑to‑end logistics operations for multiple countries, including inbound flows, international freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and outbound distribution., • Coordinate with regional 3PLs, ensuring service excellence, adherence to KPIs, and continuous performance improvement., • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and global transport standards for medical devices., • Monitor global transportation networks and proactively mitigate risks such as delays, route disruptions, or regulatory changes. Inventory & Global Supply Coordination • Oversee inventory accuracy and integrity., • Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing Sites, Commercial Teams, and Customer Service to ensure product availability and efficient market supply., • Lead inventory reconciliation, traceability processes, and stock visibility initiatives., • Support Sales & Operations Planning processes with logistics insights and data. Regulatory & Quality Compliance • Ensure logistics operations fully comply with global medical device regulations (ISO 13485, MDR, GDP…)., • Guarantee proper documentation, batch traceability, and handling procedures during international transport and storage., • Partner with Quality Assurance teams globally to manage non‑conformities, quality holds, recalls, and product returns. Process Optimization & Global Projects • Identify opportunities to improve international logistics flows, reduce lead times, and optimize cost‑to‑serve., • Lead or participate in global projects such as network redesign, warehouse transitions, digitalization initiatives, and sustainability programs., • Monitor and report key logistics KPIs Vendor & Stakeholder Management • Manage relationships with national and international logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and packaging suppliers., • Negotiate local/regional contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and service excellence., • Act as the main point of contact for escalations related to cross‑border logistics operations. Qualifications & Experience Education • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field., • Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Global Operations is a plus. Experience • 5–8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles within medical devices, pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, Food & Beverage or other highly regulated industries., • Proven experience managing international logistics operations, import/export processes, and 3PL networks., • Strong knowledge of international regulatory frameworks and medical device compliance standards. Skills & Competencies • Strong analytical, planning, and problem‑solving abilities., • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures., • Leadership and people development skills, with a hands on collaborative mindset., • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), WMS/TMS tools, and advanced Excel., • Knowledge of Incoterms, international trade regulations, and customs processes., • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced global environment with shifting priorities. Additional Requirements • Availability to travel internationally may be required (15%).
