and industry. /ph3About The Role /h3pAbout the Role /ppAs a Procurement Business Partner (Procurement BP) in Logistics Supply Chain Management (LSCM), you will be responsible for creating the bridge between the central and regional LSCM Management team, the LSCM business controlling function and the extended procurement organization, adapting EMEA central sourcing strategies to the regional business needs. /ph3LSCM Procurement Business Partner, You will /h3ulliSpeak the language of the business and understand requirements on logistics and overall supply chain services. /liliEffectively participate in cross-functional activities to guide and direct procurement strategies, communicate sourcing limitations, and articulate supply risk mitigation strategies. /liliExecute or support the execution of key sourcing projects, negotiations and contractual arrangements across Logistics Supply Chain Management categories. /liliFeel comfortable engaging in financial exercises, including regular participation in budgeting and forecasting reviews throughout the year. /liliUnderstand and have some experience in P2P processes through SAP and Ariba. /li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulliExecute or support the execution of sourcing projects, negotiations and contractual arrangements for primary transportation needs, including road, rail, air and sea transportation, as well as related logistics services. /liliSupport sourcing activities related to warehousing, storage, last mile distribution, raw material logistics and associated transportation and storage requirements. /liliSupport procurement activities for LSCM materials, goods, equipment, civil works, energy, maintenance and business services. /liliAnalyze and optimize supply chain logistics, negotiate with suppliers for cost efficiencies and service quality, and support the development of procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. /liliDevelop business stakeholder relationships and act as the link between regional and/or local management teams and the extended procurement organization. /liliAct as a trusted advisor within the LSCM domain and serve as the primary procurement point of contact for LSCM stakeholders. /liliSupport category strategy development, sourcing wave planning, budget definition and procurement roadmap activities in collaboration with business, finance and procurement teams. /liliCoordinate procurement support for sourcing execution, supplier selection and contract implementation while ensuring procurement policies and purchasing processes are applied. /liliFollow up on procurement savings realization and influence business value through the application of procurement best practices. /liliSupport the implementation, training and continuous improvement of SAP P2P and Ariba P2P processes. /li /ulh3Qualifications Experience Required /h3pEducation, Master, other certification: /pulliUniversity or Bachelor’s degree and/or several years of experience in procurement or logistics roles. /li /ulpExperience (years): /pulli7+ years of relevant experience. /liliExperience working in an international environment. /liliExperience working with cross-functional teams, including procurement, business and finance. /liliExperience in logistics supply chain management and procurement of LSCM categories. /liliSupply market knowledge is a plus. /li /ulpTechnical Skills: /pulliExperience in category management and strategic sourcing processes within logistics and supply chain management, with a special focus on primary transportation. /liliUnderstanding of logistics requirements and the ability to translate business needs into actionable decisions. /liliExperience with SAP P2P and Ariba P2P processes. /liliAbility to identify and research relevant market, industry, peer company and supplier information. /li /ulpLanguage Skills: /pulliFully fluent in English. /liliAdditional languages are a plus. /li /ulpSoft/Behavioral Skills:
