ph3Job Description /h3 pIn a nutshell, as a Business Analyst, expert in LIMS Processes, you will support our in‑house chromatography data processing application. You will translate laboratory and business requirements into clear deliverables, optimize analytical workflows for quality and efficiency, and ensure compliance with major EU environmental testing laboratory standards. /p pYou will partner with laboratory leaders, product and engineering teams, finance, and commercial stakeholders to standardize processes and guide delivery of features that streamline instrument data capture, processing, quality control (QC), technical review, and reporting across hyphenated and non‑hyphenated analytical workflows (gas chromatography GC, liquid chromatography LC, inductively coupled plasma ICP and mass spectrometry (MS)). /p h3Where will you be based and what business will you support? /h3 pBased in Almeria, Spain; you will join a globally distributed team in support of our European Environmental Testing business, with a primary focus on chromatography data processing application. /p h3How can you help us? /h3 pYou will work on the following main areas: /p h3Strategy Operational Analysis /h3 ul liAssess the EU Environmental Testing market, regulatory expectations, and laboratory operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality improvement, and margin enhancement. /li liSupport EU‑focused pricing, client segmentation, and demand modeling to guide product and investment priorities. /li liRecommend improvements to enhance turnaround time (TAT), analytical quality, data reliability, and regulatory alignment. /li /ul h3Product / Requirements Ownership (Chromatography Data System Software) /h3 ul liServe as primary liaison between EU laboratory stakeholders and the Product Development team. /li liElicit, document, and refine Business Requirements, User Requirements, and acceptance criteria (including non‑functional needs like performance and usability). /li liMaintain and update process documentation, including BRD, URD, and BPMN. /li liCollaborate with Product Development team to translate requirements into functional designs; help groom backlogs and support release scoping. /li liLead EU‑regional user acceptance testing (UAT), business sign‑off, and change management for new features and workflow updates. /li /ul h3Cross‑Functional Business Support /h3 ul liPartner with laboratory directors, technical leads, and product teams across the EU to harmonize chromatography data workflows. /li liFacilitate workshops with subject matter experts (SMEs) to challenge assumptions, streamline workflows, and improve cross‑site alignment. /li liBuild and maintain strong relationships across operations, RD, quality, IT, and commercial units. /li /ul h3Process Optimization Quality Alignment /h3 ul liMap current vs. future‑state EU laboratory workflows; identify gaps, risks, and compliance needs. /li liEnsure alignment with Eurofins Quality System Documents (SOPs, methods, work instructions). /li liEnsure processes, requirements, and software workflows comply with key EU laboratory frameworks, including ISO/IEC 17025, EU Ecolabel testing requirements, and EU Member State national accreditation bodies operating under EA. /li liSupport audit preparation, nonconformity resolution, CAPAs, and continuous improvement. /li liTrack corrective actions and measure system/process impact post‑deployment. /li /ul h3Data, Reporting Financial Insight /h3 ul liBuild dashboards (performance, throughput, error rates, QC metrics, method performance, adoption/usage). /li liSupport budgeting, forecasting, and operational reviews with EU‑specific actionable insights. /li liValidate product requirements with data, quantify product value, and measure outcomes. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pAre you our kind of extraordinary? /p h3You have /h3 ul liA Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, IT, or related field. /li li3+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner/Analyst in software, laboratory operations, or scientific environments. /li liExperience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation in an Agile environment (e.g., Jira/Confluence). /li liFamiliarity with laboratory informatics such as LIMS and CDS. /li liExcellent communication and facilitation skills across multi‑cultural EU teams. /li liWorking knowledge of EU environmental testing compliance frameworks, including but not limited to ISO/IEC 17025, EU Ecolabel requirements, and European Accreditation (EA). /li liStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. /li liStrong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel (SQL/BI tools a plus). /li /ul h3You are /h3 ul liA strong communicator in English (written/oral). /li liA fast learner. /li liSelf‑motivated with a can‑do attitude. /li /ul h3What else should I know? /h3 ul liExperience in environmental (chromatography workflows is a plus), food, agroscience or biopharma testing and laboratory operations in EU‑regulated scientific environments. /li liExperience building BPMN workflows and writing functional specifications. /li liExposure to LIMS, CDS, or scientific data management platforms; understanding of instrument integration. /li liMBA, M.Sc., or advanced scientific/technical degree. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 pWe support your development!
