Main Responsibilities: P&L & Investment Discipline: Own full country P&L responsibility, driving sustainable growth, margin integrity, and disciplined capital allocation while ensuring sound financial governance. Country Strategy & Portfolio Leadership: Define and execute the region growth strategy across Radiology, Cardiology, Oncology, and AI, aligning portfolio priorities with market opportunity and clinical relevance. Governance & Compliance (VBER + MDR + Tender Law): Ensure full adherence to EU regulatory frameworks, including VBER and MDR, and country‑specific regulations in Spain and Portugal. Operate the hybrid Go‑to‑Market model in a compliant manner. People Leadership & Talent Engine: Build and lead a high‑performing team by attracting top industry talent, developing successors, and fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and execution excellence. Drive the team to deliver exceptional business results while shaping the organization for sustainable growth. Customer & Partner Leadership: Serve as the senior interface for key accounts, ministries, and strategic partners, building long‑term trust and driving value‑based collaborations that position United Imaging as a preferred partner. Channel & Commercial Execution: Operate the hybrid Go‑to‑Market model, enabling channel partners’ performance and direct sales build‑out, ensuring fair, compliant, and effective collaboration across both channels. Forecasting & Performance Rigor: Establish a data‑driven operating rhythm with precise forecasting, measurable KPIs, and clear accountability to deliver consistent, predictable results. Reputation, Advocacy & External Influence: Represent United Imaging with credibility and integrity, strengthening our license to operate through proactive engagement with regulators, industry bodies, and media, and countering market barriers through evidence‑based advocacy. Cross‑Functional & International Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other European departments, including BU teams in Europe and China, to ensure alignment and execution of overarching European strategic objectives. Facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices, and coordinated efforts across regions to achieve business goals efficiently and consistently. What We Expect: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical imaging or broader healthcare technology, with at least 8–10 years in commercial management roles. Proven track record in P&L ownership, business scaling, and multi‑modality commercial leadership (MRI, CT, PET/CT, X‑Ray, Ultrasound, and AI‑enabled workflow solutions). Extensive European market experience with deep understanding of public procurement, reimbursement, regional healthcare dynamics, and country‑level regulatory environments. Deep knowledge of the Iberian market, with proven success specifically in Spain and Portugal, including strong relationships with local KOLs, experience in local tenders, and solid understanding of local healthcare regulations. Strong background in selling complex imaging solutions into health systems, private groups, ministries, and academic centres; experience with high‑value tendering is essential. Knowledge of AI, software, and digital workflow solutions is highly advantageous, reflecting the shift from hardware‑led sales to clinically integrated solutions. Credible and confident senior executive presence, capable of representing the company to ministries, regulators, industry bodies, and the medical community. Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top commercial and technical talent; experience building field service, applications, and sales teams. Demonstrated success in hybrid Go‑to‑Market management, enabling direct and channel partners’ success. Skilled communicator capable of simplifying complex technology and delivering clear, compelling narratives publicly and privately.
