The Global TPS (Third Party Spend) Optimization Manager will be responsible for the strategic development and operational execution of global initiatives optimising the Third Party Spend. This role will ensure that procurement activities align with the company's overall strategic goals, delivering cost reduction savings, quality improvements, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will combine procurement knowledge, specifically in the area of strategic sourcing, with high experience in project management. He/she will focus on global projects that will also demand a good understanding of the regional and local business needs to bring real measurable benefits. He/she will manage relationships with various stakeholders across divisions while integrating business needs and proposing competitive value-added solutions for the businesses. Main tasks and responsibilities Third Party Spend Optimization: • Identify and prioritise opportunities for overall cost optimization, developing TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Models., • Prepare the business cases associated to these opportunities., • Present these opportunities to the top management for internal buy-in. Strategic Sourcing: • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for those goods and services identified as targets for optimization, including: a) demand management for those goods and services, b) market analysis (current situation and future trends), c) supply base analysis, d) sourcing strategy design, e) sourcing strategy execution (tendering/negotiation), f) contract management, g) sourcing strategy implementation and h) control and reporting of outcomes against defined targets., • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure sourcing strategies meet business needs., • Manage supplier performance, including conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues or concerns. Contract Management: • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers/contractors to formalise the agreements achieved., • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standards., • Monitor contract performance and compliance, managing any changes or renewals as necessary. Stakeholder Engagement: • Work closely with global/regional/local procurement teams, business stakeholders, finance, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budget constraints., • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the evolution of each initiative tackled and goals achieved. Risk Management: • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the global projects, including supply chain, financial and compliance issues., • Develop contingency plans and ensure supply continuity for critical projects. Continuous Improvement: • Implement best practices in procurement processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement function., • Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovations. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent., • 5 years of experience in similar positions, either in an international Procurement department or in an international business consulting company specialized in Procurement., • Excellent at sourcing / negotiation., • Proven ability to develop and maintain influential and collaborative relationships at a variety of levels., • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish required.
