Opportunity – Cloud Security Engineer About the role We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join one of our international clients’ cybersecurity and cloud operations teams. This role will place you at the forefront of protecting the organization’s multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data across AWS and Azure . You will collaborate closely with cross-functional DevOps, IT, and security teams to monitor, detect, respond to, and mitigate cloud security threats in real time , while continuously improving the overall cloud security posture through automation and policy enforcement. What you’ll do Design and implement secure cloud solutions in AWS and Azure , aligned with best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR). Configure and manage SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel) and EDR tools (CrowdStrike, Defender) for proactive threat detection and response. Automate security controls using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Policy-as-Code principles. Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security throughout the CI/CD lifecycle. Strengthen network security (firewalls, VPNs, WAFs) and container security (Kubernetes hardening, CWPP). Collaborate with teams on incident management and forensic analysis , ensuring effective communication and rapid resolution. Contribute to continuous security improvement, compliance validation, and process automation initiatives. Must Have 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud operations . Proven hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud security tools and architectures . Strong understanding of shared responsibility models and cloud security design . Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, CSPM, CWPP , and network security solutions. Experience automating security via Terraform , Ansible , or similar IaC tools. Scripting skills in Python , PowerShell , YAML , KQL , or similar languages. Over 2 years of DevSecOps experience implementing security in CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset. ✨ Nice to Have Certifications such as CISSP , CCSP , Azure Security Engineer Associate , or AWS Security Specialty . Familiarity with GitHub Actions , Jenkins , and secure CI/CD practices. Experience with OpenShift or other container orchestration environments. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Cybersecurity , or related field. Experience in incident response and crisis management in fast-paced environments. Why join this project?
