We provide highly innovative elements and dependable solutions with always time at the essence of the solution. /ph3The Position /h3pWe are looking for an Industrialization Engineer who is highly motivated to work with a talented and diverse engineering team to support the transition of innovative aerospace, defense, and optronic products from development into industrial production. /ppAs part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are manufacturable, testable, scalable, cost‑effective, and sustainable throughout their full lifecycle. You will play a key role in evaluating industrial risks, defining manufacturing strategies, and ensuring that product designs are optimized for efficient serial production and long‑term support. /ppThe ideal candidate for this role is someone who can work proactively and closely with Hardware, FPGA, Software, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful industrialization and production readiness. /ph3What you’ll be doing /h3ulliWork with a friendly and positive team to transform innovative aerospace and defense products into reliable, sustainable, and scalable industrial solutions. /liliYou will work on international projects involving advanced electronic, embedded, optronic, and mission‑critical systems. /liliYou will have responsibility for assessing industrial viability, manufacturability, scalability, lifecycle sustainability, and production readiness from the earliest stages of product development. /liliCollaborate with Hardware, FPGA, Software, Mechanical, Production Test, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure that industrial requirements are considered throughout the entire product lifecycle. /liliLead Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) activities to optimize production efficiency, reduce complexity, improve yield, and ensure repeatable manufacturing processes. /liliDefine and support industrial validation activities, including prototype builds, pilot production runs, pre‑series manufacturing, and production ramp‑up plans. /liliEvaluate industrial risks and define mitigation strategies covering manufacturing, supply chain, quality, compliance, and lifecycle‑related challenges. /liliAssess supply chain robustness, supplier maturity, component availability, and long‑term sourcing strategies, including multi‑sourcing approaches for critical parts when feasible. /liliDrive component lifecycle and obsolescence management activities to ensure long‑term product support and controlled product evolution. /liliSupport cost optimization initiatives across the Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing processes, testing activities, and supply chain operations while maintaining product performance and reliability. /liliCoordinate with manufacturing partners, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to establish robust industrial processes and production capabilities. /liliYou will have effective, constant communication with project partners, suppliers, project managers, and stakeholders from project kick‑off through production deployment. /liliYou will prepare industrialization plans, readiness assessments, technical documentation, risk analyses, and project deliverables. /liliYou will participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing excellence, quality enhancement, supply chain resilience, and cost competitiveness. /li /ulh3What you Bring to Safran /h3ulliA Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Computer Engineering. /liliPassion, energy, and high motivation to participate in industrial RD projects and industrialization initiatives. /liliTeamwork, organization skills, autonomous work, and project management capabilities. /liliGood written and communication skills in English. /liliStrong understanding of manufacturing processes for electronic, electro‑mechanical, and aerospace products. /liliExperience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) methodologies. /liliKnowledge of product industrialization processes and transition from development to serial production. /liliExperience performing manufacturability assessments, production readiness evaluations, and industrial risk analysis. /liliUnderstanding of supply chain management, supplier qualification, multi‑sourcing strategies, and procurement constraints. /liliKnowledge of component lifecycle management, obsolescence monitoring, and long‑term product support strategies. /liliExperience with cost analysis, cost optimization, and value engineering activities. /liliKnowledge of industrial validation, qualification processes, pilot builds, and production ramp‑up activities. /liliFamiliarity with quality management systems, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies. /liliExperience with technical documentation, configuration management, and product lifecycle management processes. /liliStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to balance technical, industrial, schedule, and cost considerations. /liliMinimal experience required: 3 years. /li /ulh3Desirable skills.
