We are seeking a QA Engineer who can quickly integrate into our ongoing projects and make meaningful contributions. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, designers, and testers, to deliver scalable, efficient, and robust testing strategies., • Participate in weekly scrums and team meetings, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices while promoting a culture of continuous learning., • Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices to enhance productivity and software quality., • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring they are completed successfully and within deadlines., • Plan, design, develop, automate and execute test cases for Java-based platforms, both manual and automatic., • Create/integrate tools to help with the testing. Requirements: Technical Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, • 3+ years of experience in a QA position (manual and automated testing), • Proficiency working in Linux environments, including command-line systems., • Strong experience in testing data collection, data analysis, and data reporting in lab/production environments, • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python), • Experience with version control systems (e.g. GIT), • Knowledge of database languages (e.g. SQL, MongoDB), • Analytical Capabilities, Critical thinking, Problem solving, Eager to learn, and Proactive, • Good self-management capabilities to keep track of different tasks, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment, • Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken., • Ability to work in hybrid in Madrid.
