The opportunity As a Product Industrial Validation & Certification (PIVC) Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Verification & Validation (V&V) Center, ensuring that advanced power electronics products meet all functional, performance, reliability, and compliance requirements. You will work closely with R&D, industrialization, quality, and certification bodies to define and execute validation strategies based on cutting-edge methodologies, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), real-time simulation, and full-scale power testing. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive technical excellence, ensure product robustness, and contribute to the successful deployment of innovative solutions for grid integration and energy transition. How you’ll make an impact • Define and implement the global V&V strategy across the full product lifecycle, • Establish comprehensive validation frameworks covering component, subsystem, and system-level testing, • Ensure alignment between validation activities, R&D development, and certification requirements, • Lead the development and operation of V&V laboratory infrastructure, including:, • Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and real-time simulators, • Grid emulators and power test benches (MV/LV), • Environmental and reliability testing setups, • Define and execute the roadmap for test capabilities, focusing on automation, digitalization, and scalability, • Ensure high availability and optimal utilization of test assets, • Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple parallel projects, • Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, and validation results, • Supervise system validation activities, including grid code compliance and dynamic performance testing, • Collaborate with Quality to define control plans and process FMEA, • Identify product risks through rigorous validation campaigns and testing activities, • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures, • Contribute to improving product reliability and robustness Your background • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar, • Strong experience in power electronics systems (converters, inverters, PCS, grid integration), • Good understanding of verification methodologies (V-cycle, requirement-based testing), • Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems (e.g., OPAL-RT, Typhoon, RTDS or similar), • Knowledge of real-time simulation and grid emulation, • Experience in high-power testing (MV/LV), including load profiles, thermal, and dynamic behaviour, • Background in control systems validation (firmware, DSP/FPGA interaction), • Strong communication skills in international environments, • Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level) Nice to have: • Knowledge of standards and certifications (IEC, UL, IEEE, grid codes), • Experience with data acquisition, automation, and test scripting, • Project or program management experience across multiple developments More about us We offer a permanent position where you will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, working on state-of-the-art power electronics technologies that support the transition to more sustainable energy systems.
