At NTT DATA we are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure presales Technical Writer to join our International Organisations team. As an IT Infrastructure presales Technical Writer you will lead the requirement analysis & solution design, from opportunity identification to proposal submission. This includes ensuring the timely submission of high-quality proposals that meet client requirements, managing the bid budget and resources effectively and establishing compliance with all Tender requirements and guidelines. The IT Infrastructure Services presales technical writer must have an overall and holistic understanding of the infrastructure solutions with a key focus on Data Center, Cloud, End Users, tools and ITSM processes. It is important to demonstrate your knowledge of market trends and potential competitor solutions to strengthen the bid strategy. Main Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate the entire technical proposal writing exercise, including reviewing executive summary, efforts estimation and technical content of the proposal., • Develop compelling and persuasive proposal content, including value propositions, pricing models, assumptions etc.., • Lead SLA/KPI analysis and risk assessment of the RFP/Tender., • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, operations and subject matter experts, to gather information and develop bid strategies., • Participate in bid review meetings, ensuring input related to technical content and other aspect of the proposal are delivered as per bid plan and address concerns or issues., • Work with pricing teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with bid requirements and profitability targets., • Monitor and track proposal quality metrics, analysing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement., • Conduct post-bid analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas of improvement and implement lessons learned for future bids., • Stay updated on industry trends, market insights and emerging best practices in IS Data Center, Cloud, End User, IT Operations tools & processes, automation and other IT Infrastructure Services based solutions. Requirements Mandatory • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field., • 5+ years of experience as proposal owner or solution design or similar role, • Strong technical abilities with Infrastructure technologies articulated around AIOps, platforms and IT Systems, Cloud and DevSecOps environments,, • Experience in managing proposal for complex projects or large-scale contracts preferably in Public Sector and European institutions., • Demonstrated success in winning deals through effective proposal management., • Strong understanding of proposal writing, development and contract negotiation., • Ability to implement budgetary and cost-control measures with solid negotiation and persuasive skills. Nice to have • Understanding pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development., • Any CSP Solution Certification Like AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate Or ITIL V4 Certified Associate, • Ability to create visually appealing and engaging proposal presentations., • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously., • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
