GRANT PERIOD: START: 01/01/2023 END: 31/12/2026 Main Research Centre: Vice-Rectorate for Research and Technology Transfer LOCATION AND OPENING HOURS: CITIC, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Timeline for Recruitment of Research Staff • Support and collaboration for the management of the ‘Talentos Inclusivos’ project – including the coordination of inclusive educational activities, the development of accessible materials, the organisation of workshops and events, and the communication and facilitation of working groups for the development of technological challenges with the participating schools and ASPACE Coruña. Start: 1 November 2026; End: 31 December 2026; Duration: 2 months. The Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) comprises more than 300 researchers. As part of the Network of Research Centres within the Galician University System, it provides research staff with high-performance and specialised computing infrastructure that facilitates the execution of projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science and engineering, high-performance computing, smart services and networks, and cybersecurity. The centre is equipped with unique laboratories, such as the technology demonstrator and the virtual reality and robotics laboratories, where prototypes or the results of research projects can be showcased, serving as a platform to highlight the R&D&I capabilities of the various research teams. CITIC carries out activities to support the dissemination of research, promotes the ‘Talentos Inclusivos’ citizen science project and the Erasmus+ EDIGIT project, and organises the annual XoveTIC Conference, amongst other initiatives to promote the centre. This vacancy seeks a candidate with a profile suited to managing and driving forward educational, inclusive and European projects linked to CITIC, with the ability to coordinate activities, partners, educational institutions and collaborating organisations. We are looking for someone with experience in organising outreach activities, the social transfer of knowledge, citizen science and events, as well as in producing accessible materials, presentations, reports and training resources. Master’s degree in the field of communication or equivalent to MECES level 3. The requirements must have been met by the deadline for submitting applications. On the closing date for applications and throughout the term of the contract, applicants must meet and continue to meet the requirements set out in Article 8 of the Regulations on the Recruitment of Contract Staff, Chapter 6, relating to research and knowledge transfer projects, grants and agreements. The post may remain unfilled if no candidate achieves a score of more than 60 points.
