ph3Overview /h3pbJob Summary /b As an A400M Flight Ops Services Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of the A400M aircraft fleet. You will be responsible for developing and delivering Flight Operations Services for all A400M customers, with the support of a team, including technical support to customers regarding flight operations, flight performance, and mission planning, and delivering Aerodata products such as NavDB and terrain databases, contributing to maintaining the highest standards of safety and mission effectiveness. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliBusiness development activities: design, develop, integrate and deliver on time, on cost and on quality new Flight Operations Services for Military Aircraft Customers to operate their Airbus Defence and Space aircrafts safely and efficiently, supporting increased sales. /liliManage technically all related resources (internal and subcontracted work packages) allocated to Flight Operations Services worldwide. /liliOTQC provision of all services contracted by customers (e.g., customer queries resolution, product deliveries). /liliEstablish, lead and manage collaboration with internal departments (e.g., Service Programme Managers, Procurement, Legal, Design Offices, other Airbus SAS departments) to define, develop and operate the Flight Operations Services. /liliDevelop and implement Project Management Plans for Flight Operations Services, defining work packages in terms of scope, quality requirements, target costs and timescales to meet program requirements and applicable standards; set tasks, budgets and timescales for each deliverable; develop, maintain and implement action plans and priorities; define and monitor KPI to track performance. /liliManage the balance between cost and quality for each product to ensure cost targets are met and program requirements are satisfied. /liliIdentify program risks and define and implement risk mitigation plans. /liliTechnical management of external providers (e.g., Boeing-Jeppesen, Airbus Navblue, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Thales, General Electric, etc.). /liliManage and lead customer relations on Flight Operations services, products and offers. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline. /liliProven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in project management in TAS or similar. /liliStrong understanding of Airbus organization. /liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain value propositions and services to diverse audiences. /liliFluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. /liliAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. /liliStrong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to business development techniques. /liliExperience with A400M aircraft or similar military transport aircraft is a significant advantage. /liliWillingness to travel internationally for customer support, training, and operational engagements. /li /ulpThis job requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. /ph3Company Employment Details /h3pCompany: Airbus Defence and Space SAU /ppEmployment Type: Permanent /ppExperience Level: Professional /ppJob Family: Customer Flight/Mission Ops Support /ppBy submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
