ppbJob Description: /b /p pAn opportunity for an bIndustrial System Engineer /b has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid). /p pThe selected candidate will join the bME - Transversal Team /b, a key part of the Manufacturing Engineering organization at the Airbus Getafe Plant. /p pOur vision is clear: “to secure the industrial system today and to create the sustainable industrial solution of the future.” /p pThe Getafe Plant is a center of excellence specializing in the structural assembly and equipping of Horizontal Tail Planes (HTPs) for the A320, A330, and A350 families, as well as the S19 section for the A350, utilizing advanced automated and robotic methods and dry carbon fiber manufacturing. /p pIn this role, your core mission will be to predict and improve our Industrial Performance by developing Lean Industrial System Designs, optimizing flows, and building advanced simulation models to translate conceptual ideas into highly competitive, real‑world shopfloor scenarios. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pThe main tasks of the jobholder will be: /p ul lipbLead and conduct /b Industrial System Design and Modelling projects from initial concept to deployment, optimizing flows and ensuring the best industrial footprint for plant activities. /p /li lipbDevelop and manage /b Industrial Line Flow Simulations and Digital Twins using advanced 3D software (e.g., 3DExperience) to anticipate, replicate, and optimize assembly line behavior. /p /li lipbAnalyze and optimize /b the industrial performance of current and future manufacturing lines through time‑value calculations, standard line balancing, and Value Stream Analysis deployment. /p /li lipbDrive /b the Machine Connectivity strategy at the plant level, collaborating closely with Maintenance, Operations, and central teams to define strategies, secure budgets, and improve machine availability. /p /li lipbSupport and deploy /b Data Analytics projects and innovation technologies, managing data to enable predictive decision‑making, pattern detection, and early breakdown warnings. /p /li lipbCollaborate /b with Industrial Architects and multidisciplinary teams to translate conceptual workflows into real shopfloor realities, factoring in surfaces, logistics, lead times, and station‑level ergonomics. /p /li /ul h3SKILLS /h3 ul lipbEducation: /b University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Aeronautical, or a related discipline). /p /li lipbExperience: /b Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably within complex industrial, automated, or aerospace environments. /p /li lipbSoft skills: /b High passion, energy, and motivation for continuous improvement. Strong teamwork spirit, creativity, integrity, reliability, and the leadership potential to manage transversal projects. /p /li lipbLanguages: /b Negotiation level in English is a must. Capitalization of another European language is valuable. /p /li lipbTechnical knowledge: /b Strong proficiency in 3D environments (such as 3DExperience) for layouts, line simulation, and logistics analysis. Knowledge of flow simulation methodologies and data management. /p /li lipbValuable / Nice to have: /b Knowledge of AnyLogic software is a strong plus.
