HSE Specialist Location: Grove | Bolton Food | Full-time About the Role Join Bolton Food, a leader in the food industry, and become part of our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, driving continuous improvement across our operations, and fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and responsibility. You will collaborate closely with management to implement, maintain, and enhance our HSE Management System, ensuring legal compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with corporate sustainability goals. How You Make the Difference HSE Management Systems • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems., • Monitor compliance with environmental and safety regulations through internal audits and on-site inspections., • Draft and update technical documentation and operational procedures., • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to improvement plans., • Promote proactive safety and environmental culture across the plant., • Identify and evaluate occupational, environmental, and psychosocial risks in processes, facilities, and operational changes., • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and proper use of PPE., • Conduct emergency drills and follow up on corrective actions., • Propose preventive measures and improvement opportunities., • Deliver internal training on safety, health, and environmental topics., • Implement and support Behavior-Based Safety Programs (STOP Program), • Assess environmental aspects and impacts, proposing and tracking improvement actions., • Implement and monitor operational controls and legal authorizations., • Investigate accidents, incidents, and occupational illnesses to identify root causes., • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies (CAE management)., • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline., • Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) is mandatory (3 specialties)., • Experience from the food industry or a structured manufacturing environment., • Strong knowledge of occupational safety and environmental legislation., • Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems., • Fluent in English, both written and spoken., • Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize and organize work independently., • Critical thinking and data interpretation skills with a continuous improvement mindset., • Proactive, fast learner with a growth-oriented mindset., • Location: On-site + Smartworking, • Contract Type: Permanent, • Working Hours: Full-time (flexible schedule), • Opportunity: Work in a dynamic, international environment where finance meets operational excellence, • Professional development and training programs tailored to your growth.
