Associate Professor – General Practice (Part Time, 0.5FTE) within the Sydney Medical School, Faculty of Medicine and Health. The role contributes to the Sydney Medical School’s reputation as one of the highest‑rated education and research institutions in the Asia‑Pacific region, focusing on education, research, and healthcare delivery. Base Salary: $195,478 (Pro Rata) + 17% superannuation + Full Clinical Loading. • Lead and sustain a nationally or internationally recognised research program., • Secure research funding and build strategic research collaborations., • Deliver and oversee high‑quality teaching and supervision of students., • Lead curriculum innovation and program development., • Provide academic leadership, mentoring and guidance to staff., • Contribute to governance, service and strategic initiatives within the faculty., • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery or Doctor of Medicine (or equivalent)., • Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (or equivalent)., • Current APHRA registration., • A PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline., • An established research profile with national or international recognition., • Extensive experience in research, including publications and funding success., • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum design., • Experience supervising higher‑degree research students and mentoring staff., • Solid track record of academic leadership and contribution to institutional initiatives.
