We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our team at No92, a busy neighbourhood café in Isle of Dogs. For this role, making great coffee is essential. We are looking for someone who is confident working on a commercial espresso machine and can consistently produce high-quality coffee during busy service periods. Key Responsibilities • Prepare espresso-based drinks to a high standard, • Dial in coffee and maintain consistency throughout the day, • Steam milk properly and create basic latte art, • Provide friendly and professional customer service, • Take orders and process payments when required, • Keep the coffee station clean, organised and well stocked, • Assist with opening and closing duties, • Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures, • Support the team during busy service periods Requirements • Previous barista experience in a busy café, • Strong knowledge of espresso extraction and milk texturing, • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, • Friendly, positive and reliable attitude, • Good communication skills, • Punctual and well presented, • Right to work in the UK Preferred • Experience with specialty coffee, • Basic latte art skills, • Experience working in a brunch or neighbourhood café environment
