We are looking for a creative and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team at Brixton Spritz, a contemporary casual dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong culinary background, and the ability to create innovative, high-quality dishes that reflect our modern, relaxed atmosphere. As the chef, you will be responsible for preparing meals to the highest standards and ensuring that our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.
Key responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparations, cooking, and plating of dishes.
Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all menu items.
Develop and update the menu in collaboration with management, incorporating customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
Ensure that food safety standards and health regulations are consistently met.
Manage kitchen operations during peak hours, ensuring food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
Work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication between kitchen and dining area.
Keep up with culinary trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the menu.
Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and customer complaints with professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen regulations.
Passionate about food and providing a high-quality dining experience.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
