As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety are maintained. Duties: Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock without excess waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times. Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Skills: Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams effectively. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to create innovative dishes that enhance the restaurant's reputation for quality dining. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and restaurant staff. Experience in food production within a restaurant setting is essential, along with a commitment to hospitality excellence. Team management skills to inspire and motivate staff towards achieving common goals. We are looking for a team member able to help in every day restaurant tasks. Must be able to work all the hours mentioned. From helping preparing food orders, handing food to drivers, clear tables, helping other members when needed, general cleaning at the end if day.. etc Working hours: Mon-Tue-Wed-Thur 17.00/23.00 Friday, Saturday 18.00/00.00 Rota and hours are fixed. What are we looking for? - Someone with masterclass Pizza-making skills with a real passion for pizza! - Someone who is highly skilled in making Neapolitan-style pizza, making and stretching dough and baking in a stone-based marana oven. - A Head Chef who has previous experience leading and developing a team who enjoys collaboration and has excellent communication skills. - Someone who has first-class organisation skills and attention to detail. - Someone with good knowledge of risk assessments, food safety and hygiene within a commercial kitchen.
