We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences in our Pub. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts, with a passion for food production and hospitality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety are maintained.
Duties:
Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock without excess waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and best practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Skills:
Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to create innovative dishes that enhance the restaurant's reputation for quality dining.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and restaurant staff.
Experience in food production within a restaurant setting is essential, along with a commitment to hospitality excellence.

Pay: £30,000.00 - £40,000.00 per year depending on experience
