Overview
We are hiring for a Doggy Day Care Manager and play a pivotal role in creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment for our canine guests. In this energetic position, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the highest standards of animal care, and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service. Your passion for animals combined with strong leadership skills will help foster a positive atmosphere where dogs thrive and owners feel confident in our care. You must be confident driving a small Van and have a clean Driving License.
- You will be collecting dogs directly from Clients from 7am and Dropping them back to For for Drop offs at 4/5pm.
- You will be supervising the dogs daily in a Secure field, providing Doggy daily dog care activities, ensuring all pets are safe, comfortable, and engaged throughout their stay
- Coordinate feeding schedules, playtime, training sessions, and health monitoring for all dogs in our care
- Conduct regular safety checks of the facility, including play areas and equipment, to prevent accidents or injuries
- Handle customer inquiries with enthusiasm, providing expert advice on dog care and services offered - we send Clients 3/4 videos a day to let them know what their Dog has been up to.
- Ensuring all necessary equipment is clean and ready for the next day
- Maintain detailed records of each dog’s behavior, health status, and any incidents to ensure transparency and quality assurance
Requirements
- Passionate about working with animals and committed to their well-being
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to handle Dogs of different sizes safely and efficiently both when in transit and as part of daily routines
- Knowledge of dog behaviour, training techniques, and health monitoring practices is a plus
