We are seeking to hire someone with extensive knowledge in Canine care and training who will join the household team. The family currently have a range of animals you will be charged with caring for including dogs. cats, rabbits and other animals. Primarily you will be handling the dogs, including handling, training and traveling with the dogs. Ensuring the wellbeing of the dogs including feeding, training, exercising and grooming is the main part of this position. Up keep of pet areas including litter trays and light housekeeping in pet areas. Day to day grooming and cleaning of the animals. Maintaining good health of the animals and administering medication where required. A general passion for animals and their wellbeing is essential. You must be comfortable working around children. Responding to various ac hoc duties as and when required. Our client is looking for someone proactive, energetic with a can-do attitude who has good communication skills. A proven track record in dog handling – within a military setting would be advantageous. Proof of right to work in the UK, passport and ability to travel would wide is essential. This is a live put position, so you much live within a commutable distance of Kensington. Salary £40,000 – £45,000 DOE Shifts are usually Monday – Friday however some weekend flexibility will be required but rarely Holiday – 20 days plus bank holidays with a day in lieu if any additional days are worked. Pension scheme is available. Annual bonus at the discretion of the employer.

We are keen to hear from experienced dog walkers and dog owners as well as candidates that have in the animal industry previously. Suitable candidates will live within or very close to SW, be extremely passionate about all breeds, temperaments and sizes as well as have excellent communication skills and punctuality. You will also be able to travel independently between your clients throughout the day in almost all weather conditions. The Rock Project, the UK & Ireland's leading rock and pop music school will be opening in early March 2025. We are currently looking for an energetic and passionate Manager to teach & inspire small groups of 7-11 & 12-18 year olds at our Canary Wharf/ Isle of Dogs school on a Saturday. The successful candidate would have good teaching experience in either electric guitar, bass guitar, drums or vocals, and a passion for teaching children aged 7+. They are required to drive to the venue and is responsible for the set up, run and logistics of the session, with help of a Session Assistant. This position involves working with children therefore the successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure, or already hold one that has been issued within the last 3 years. We are looking for someone who: - Is a reliable and professional musician - Has experience and enjoys teaching children in groups of up to 5 students - Can build positive relationships with both adults and children - Has a passion for and have good knowledge of Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums or Vocals - Is outgoing, friendly, inspiring and able to lead a lesson - Has experience of leading music session within a large group setting (desirable) - Is dependable and committed to providing high quality music education - Is self-employed and hold a UTR (or can register as self-employed) - Has an enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to get one) - Has a commitment to safeguarding - Can drive, with full UK driving license Role of a Session Manager: - Assume control of the van and equipment - Drive the equipment to and from the session - Set up the session in time for the start time - Run the session as stipulated by The Rock Project – 2 hours for Junior Session and 2 hours for Senior Session - Deal with any parent queries at the session, anything ‘admin’ is to be referred to the franchisee - Pack down the gear with care into the van - Report any broken equipment to the franchisee They will also be expected to: - Plan each session and write a schedule of songs for upcoming weeks/ term - Liaise and take charge of the tutors via the Whatsapp tutor group - Mark the quizzes each week - Print out both quiz tables and any new student registration forms (this will be emailed to you) - Provide welcome pack and reg form for new students’ parent when they arrive - Catch up with tutors about how lessons have gone and report back any problems/disruptive students to the franchisee - Be aware of The Rock Project child protection policy during the group hour. Watch out for any students who are struggling. Keep on top of any safeguarding matters. - RUN A GOOD SESSION! Keep it light and fun for all the students! Equipment provided.
