Your expertise in animal care and grooming techniques will contribute to the overall satisfaction of both dogs and their owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of dogs' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised. Communicate effectively with dog owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on the dogs's needs. Handle pets with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during the grooming process. Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions from owners. Requirements Proven experience as a Dog Groomer is required; training may be provided for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of animal behaviour, grooming techniques, and basic animal care practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
