The Rose in Shenfield is a busy and popular Gastro Pub with a strong reputation for quality food and service. We’re looking for a talented and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
You’ll work closely with a highly experienced General Manager (30+ years in the industry) and have full responsibility for the kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations
- Create and manage staff rotas
- Recruit and train kitchen team members
- Handle ordering, stock control and GP targets
- Maintain the highest food hygiene and safety standards
- Drive menu quality and consistency
