Job Description • Provide friendly and efficient service to students staff and visitors in the school, • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages light snacks and pre-prepared foods, • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the café including counters seating and equipment, • Restock supplies and ensure displays are well-presented and inviting, • Assist with general kitchen duties including basic food prep and cleaning, • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times, • Provide excellent customer service fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the café, • Support occasional school events or functions as required, • Assist with setting up and serving meals to pupils and staff, • Helping with deliveries and storing, • Support hospitality events as required Qualifications : • Previous experience in a catering or cleaning environment (desirable but not essential), • Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices, • Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (can be provided during training), • Good communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions, • Reliable punctual and professional in appearance and attitude, • Positive can-do approach to work, • Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and carry out manual tasks, • Willingness to learn and adapt to a busy school environment Additional Information : Holroyd Howe is one of the UKs leading contract caterers providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges.
