    Old Roan, Liverpool

Rate of pay – Qualified, £13.25 per hour, Unqualified £12.75 per hour. Roles are full time contracted. Sleeps paid in addition at a rate of £60 per night Do you want to work for a company who genuinely believe that the absolute best homes and support are the least we should be providing to the vulnerable children and young people in our care? At Redefined care we believe in exactly that, if the best we can do will always fall short of what is needed, we owe it to each and every child that we support to provide nothing short of the best. We provide a genuinely therapeutic and child focussed service, where every child who comes to live with us will have a therapeutic assessment, during which the type and level of support that they need will be established and a plan of support put in place. This could include more traditional therapeutic work with our forensic psychologist, art therapy in our art studio, music therapy in our recording studio, or anything else that they may benefit from. In addition to this, the home has a huge focus on wellbeing with a spacious garden area, kitchen garden, equipped gym space and a swimming pool and jacuzzi pool. With that comes a dedication to employing the most passionate and dedicated individuals in the sector and supporting them with real, honest training and support. Our senior leaders have a proven track record in creating bespoke training and progression paths that will support you both in your current role and future career aspirations. We will begin with a 4 week face to face induction program, covering a range of topics and including formal training from external providers and from our lead forensic psychologist, as well as training delivered by our senior leadership team. From there, every staff member will have a development plan created, with real and achievable goals, and support built in as you progress your career with us. As a residential support worker you will play a key role in shaping the lives of the children that we support. You will work to build solid relationships with them and support them in all aspects of their daily lives. On a typical day you could be supporting the children to get up and have their breakfast then taking them to school or supporting education within the home. In the evenings you will support with activities inside or outside of the home, have dinner with the children, spend time with them watching TV or playing games and support with their evening routines. You may also support them to attend sessions within the home with one of a number of therapists and other professionals, or spend time in the gym, art studio or recording studio with them. We would welcome applications from both experienced residential support workers who would like to move to an organisation who will support and encourage their growth, as well as people looking to take their first step into the role in an organisation with the skills, experience and genuine desire to train and develop you from the start. If you are motivated to join us on our journey to create the best possible childhood for our children and young people, and have a desire to improve and develop in order to achieve that then please apply for this role.
