SAVA is a UK based startup that is developing a new type of Continuous Glucose Monitor. We are running a local product testing study in Central London and are looking for a healthcare assistant (HCA) or similar individual with a background or training in healthcare, who has experience working with participants in a clinic, lab or health products space.
You will be asked to come to the SAVA office in Central London over 8 weeks, and stay on site for 8 hours a day to help with the study. We'll provide the schedule to you when the project starts, but we anticipate you'll need to be available Monday - Friday across July and August at least. Healthy adult participants will come each day to take part in the study, and you'll handle 5 - 8 people a day.
During these visits, you'll be asked to help monitor around a group of participants over 8 hours, who will remain in the SAVA offices for the whole day. You'll take their fingerpricks using a commercial blood glucose monitor using clean and safe techniques. You'll also be trained by our experienced SAVA staff in the study testing details. You won't be asked to administer treatment, medicine, or make any medical decisions.
You'll be paid according to your hourly rate.
