Job Description:
We are looking for confident and reliable individuals to join our team as Outreach Representatives. Your role will be to engage with council tenants in person, collect key information about their housing conditions, and help identify those eligible for support with disrepair claims or other services.
Responsibilities:
Visit council estates and speak directly with tenants
Politely and professionally gather data on housing issues (e.g., damp, mould, leaks)
Complete short questionnaires or digital forms on behalf of tenants
Educate tenants about their rights and available support options
Report findings back to the office team for follow-up
Requirements:
Strong communication and people skills
Confident working outdoors and speaking to strangers
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Basic smartphone skills (to record info or use apps)
Experience in door-to-door work or outreach (preferred but not essential)
