Ice Cream Kiosk Assistant – Seasonal Position (Rochester)
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our ice cream kiosk team for the 2026 season in Rochester.
Working Period:
April to September
Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (essential)
- Able to commit to the full season
- Mature, responsible, and able to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Enjoy maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Able to work at a fast pace during busy periods
- Shows initiative during quieter times
- Confident with mental arithmetic and handling transactions
Duties Include:
- Serving customers efficiently and politely
- Preparing and serving ice cream and related products
- Handling cash and card payments accurately
- Cleaning and sanitising the kiosk and equipment
- Maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment at all times
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with the public, and understands the importance of food safety and cleanliness.
