Ciao! We are currently looking for a pizza chef to join our team at Dodici pizze with the following requirements: - Able to make Pizza, fresh dough, dough balls and work with a gas pizza oven. - Able to use professional equipment such as; blender, mandoline and meat slicer to a high standard. (training will be provided) - Punctual, reliable with good hygiene as we have an open plan kitchen where we are both visible and expected to interact with customers. - Knowledge of the best Italian ingredients is important. - Able to use a meat slicer. - Possibly food hygiene level 2/3 and allergens certificate, training will be provided. - We have a 5 start rating so cleaning is mandatory to a high standard every day every shift. - Really happy and friendly environment, lots of laughs with free staff food, discounted drinks and possibility of career progression with us having a view to open more sites in the future. - Salary is negotiable depending on experience with hungry proactive chefs of all levels welcome. - TRONC system is in place for employees. Location: Stratford Westfield Contract: Minimum 25 hours, up to 45 hours when busy. Working hours: Shifts will be scheduled on a rota basis between Mondays - Sunday, 11:30am- 10:00pm (subject to change). Pay Rate: £12 Main duties and responsibilities: Food preparation, COOKING and customer service. The role involves extensive food preparation and cooking (i.e. ingredients preps, frying, boiling, assembling dishes). You will also be operating tills and serving customers behind the counter. Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Sous Chef in the daily running of the Kitchen To be able to run all sections in our busy kitchen To ensure food is prepared and cooked to our high standard at all times Ensure dishes are served within our execution times without exception To offer training and support to junior colleagues To organise Junior colleagues and kitchen support colleagues with daily job lists Be able to stay claim in a busy kitchen with multiple orders being sent together Must be a good communication skills with both kitchen colleagues and front of house colleagues Ensure that Alert65 platform is filled out daily and that all colleagues are following food safety rules.
